More and more companies are jumping onto the responsible gambling train in the United Kingdom as the country’s regulator also makes efforts to ensure that the industry is safe for everyone. Renowned European gaming operator, Sky Bet is one of the companies that have a long history of advocacy for safe and responsible gambling and it has been quite proactive in pursuing some of the interventions it has proposed in the past. For this reason, the company has earned itself a lot of praise from proponents of responsible gambling as well as the consumers who have benefitted, in one way or the other, from their services.

Previous Attempts

Late last year, Sky Bet launched a nation-wide advertising campaign that it referred to as its new ‘Three Simple Tools”. This campaign featured popular figures like Sky Soccer Saturday’s Matt Le Tissier, Phil Thompson and Charlie Nicholas and it will be a follow up the company’s “When the Fun Stops, Stop” campaign which was launched way back in 2017. The Sky Soccer pundits that will be part of the campaign will be tasked with promoting Deposit Limits, the brand new Profit and Loss function and the Cool-off Period, which are three of Sky Bet’s safe and responsible gambling tools.

According to a statement released by the Sky Bet at the time when the tools were launched, each of the three pundits featured in the campaign represent one of the three tools each of which is meant to contribute to better gaming experiences by giving the customers more useful content in order to assist in understanding and, hopefully, more utilization of the tools.

As it stands, the company has pledged up to £3.5 million in ad-spend promoting safer gambling awareness as part of its ongoing efforts to improve responsibility and industry standards. Sky Bet was the very first company in the United Kingdom to break new ground with safer and responsible gambling campaigns and thus the ‘Three Simple Tools’ allows them to explore further as they strive to give the consumers an easily understandable or comprehensible summary of the gambling summaries. The idea here is to keep the players informed so that they are able to manage their bankroll appropriately.

Enter a Chat Bot

After over three months since Sky Bet introduced its ‘Simple Tools’ campaign, the company has recently updated the program by introducing a Twitter chatbot that will be educating gamblers on responsible gambling practices. With this new impressive feature, Sky Betting and Gaming will now be able to take its safer gambling strategy a notch higher.
