Renowned online casino solutions developer and supplier NetEnt has recently rolled out the beta version of NetEnt Connect, its new content aggregation platform. This new platform is part of NetEnt’s bid to make it much easier for its casino partners to have instant access to new content. The beta testing phase of the platform is currently being done in collaboration with Casino Room, an online casino that is owned and operated by Ellmount Gaming.
NetEnt’s Acquisition of Red Tiger
At about the same time that NetEnt announced that it was working on a new content aggregation platform, the company acquired Red Tiger in a cash deal that was worth over $200 million. Red Tiger is known for being one of the most reputable casino game suppliers and its partnership with NetEnt was, therefore, a very big deal.
NetEnt Connect now features gaming content from both NetEnt itself as well as proprietary game titles from Red Tiger. In addition to that, the new online casino content aggregation platform is now able to fully capitalize on Red Tigers widely-praised technology. Wider Rollout Coming in 2020
The beta test phase of NetEnt Connect will continue for the next few weeks and it will give the company the chance to ensure that everything is working smoothly. Once this is confirmed, a wider rollout will follow. By that time, NetEnt’s casino partners will be able to instantly access content from several online game developers including Red Tiger.
NetEnt will roll out NetEnt Connect to its customers on a market by market basis and will be based on the reaction of these markets. Variety and diversity are also key considerations hence the Swedish gaming company’s plans to integrate as many third-party partner game developers as possible.
