The state of Michigan just expanded its betting sector thanks to the recent addition of Caesars Entertainment to the list of the state-regulated operators. This is thanks to a landmark multi-year deal that Caesars Entertainment has inked with the state’s athletic department. Caesars Sportsbook is now the official sports betting and online gambling partner of Michigan State University (MSU) Athletics and MSU Sports Properties.
The Terms
As per the term of the partnership agreement, Caesars Entertainment will be receiving exposure through broadcast and digital signage at the state’s basketball, football and hockey games. In addition to that, the company will also receive the naming rights to a new premium seating area inside Spartan Stadium. This will begin during this year’s football season.
Aside from the hospitality assets, that Caesars will receive, the company will also enjoy a robust range of VIP experiences. All that will be available to customers of Caesars Sportsbook. It will be integrated into Caesars Rewards, the company’s coveted world-class loyalty program.
Things will get even better for Spartan fans who will now be able to access market-leading promotional offers. These offers will not only apply to mobile sports betting and iGaming but also the World Series of Poker (WSOP) offerings.
Speaking on the new partnership, Alan Haller, Michigan State Vice President and Director of Athletics, noted that the move will be vital to enhancing all experiences for Spartan fans.
