It has just been a year since the United States Supreme Court abolished PASPA thus lifting the federal ban on sports betting and in that period, there has been a massive push for sports betting expansion across a number of states. Needless to say, the country’s sports betting market is thriving but there is certainly more room for growth. Fortunately, growth is just what many of the gaming operators that are eyeing the nascent sports betting market are offering.

Boyd Gaming and FanDuel Launch Sports Betting in Iowa and Indiana

Casino operator Boyd Gaming Corporation and FanDuel Group have recently announced that they are extending their partnership with the debut of FanDuel Sportsbooks at four of the casino operator’s properties. These four properties include Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Spa in Michigan City, Indiana; Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque, Iowa; Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, Iowa; and Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, Indiana. The launch of the four sports betting facilities comes a very short while after the legalization of regulated sports betting in both Iowa and Indiana.

To celebrate the debut of the sportsbooks, the partner companies invited four famous footballers, one at each of the four casinos to place the ceremonial first bets: Green Bay star wide receiver and world champion Antonio Freeman (Diamond Jo Dubuque); Chicago Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher (Blue Chip); Minnesota Hall of Fame defensive end John Randle (Diamond Jo Worth); and Cincinnati’s legendary quarterback Ken Anderson (Belterra Resort). It goes without saying these were very fitting debuts for some of the most anticipated sporting activities.

Kindred Groups’ Unibet Brand Launches Sportsbook in New Jersey

Just three months after launching its online casino New Jersey, the Kindred Group has recently launched its first online sportsbook in the state through its very popular Unibet brand. The sportsbook has been launched in collaboration with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and is set to be heavily marketed as the new football seasons draws nearer.

The operator’s New Jersey sportsbook will be accessible via desktop as well as on both iOS and Android-powered devices. It is powered by renowned European betting technology provider Kambi Group which means that the bettors can look forward to some very polished sports betting offerings.

Now that it has made its market in the Garden City’s market, Kindred now plans to extend its operations into the Pennsylvanian online gambling market which is still very young but is growing at a very rapid pace. The company has since secured a partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono, a hotel and casino resort in the Keystone State – this five-year agreement will see the company venture into the state’s market with its amazing online casino and sports betting offers.
