Online casino content supplier and solution provider Play’n GO has recently announced the latest of a series of content supply deals that are part of its bid to extend its footprint to the new regulated Swedish online gambling market. The partnership deal will see the company have its content go live with one of the newly licensed gambling operators in the country. While it has yet to disclose the new partner, Play’ n GO has expressed its excitement about the project as it will be the latest milestone in the casino supplier’s strategy.

Magnus Olsson, the Head of Sales and Account Management at Play’n GO stated that Sweden is more of a “home turf” for the company and that they are proud to be part of the reorganized gaming market. The country officially kicked off a new online gambling regime on January 1 and since the country’s local regulator, Spelinspektionen has handed out a total of 60 licenses to foreign gaming companies. As it turns out, Play’ n GO has partnered with a considerable number of these gaming companies and they will be offering its highly-praised slots to customers to Swedish gamers.

Partnership Deal with Svenska Spel

Most recently, Play’ n GO has announced yet another strategic partnership with another major gaming operator, that is, Svenska Spel the company that previously held exclusive rights to operate nearly all forms of gambling in the country up until the new laws took effect in January. This can be said to be a match made in heaven as both companies already have a great presence in the country – Svenska Spel still stands out among all other casino operators while Play’ n GO has already cemented itself as a holder of the biggest share of the newly re-organized Swedish gaming market.

“Adding top-quality games to our offering here at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino is a high priority for us, so a partnership with Play’n GO made perfect sense. Their reputation of producing engaging and enjoyable content means we can be sure we are providing our audience with first-rate entertainment,” Jonas Nygren, the VP for Casino with Svenska Spel said.

In addition to being a great boost for its brand, Play’ n GO will also benefit from the great reputation of Svenska Spel as a consumer conscious gaming platform. The company has recently terminated all of its online casino adverts in the wake of reports that revealed that of all the different types of gamblers, online gamblers were the most likely to develop gambling-related problems simply because they were losing control of their habits. One of the things that contributed to this was the prevalence of online gaming ads.
