Last Thursday, Blueprint Gaming, one of Gauselmann Group’s subsidiaries, acquired renowned United Kingdom-based games developer Project as part of the company’s bid to further expand its portfolio of offerings. Already, Blueprint Gaming boasts a robust game portfolio that has been lauded by players from the region and therefore the acquisition will only serve to diversify and strengthen that portfolio, something that is quite necessary especially considering how competitive the United Kingdom’s gaming market is becoming.

Project, on the other hand, has been an active participant in the country’s gaming industry for the past three decades – its impressive portfolio consists of over 50 gaming titles consists of such popular hits like Find the Lady Poker and Mega Bars. As per the terms of the acquisition, most, if not all of the 50 Project game titles are expected to be integrated into Blueprint Gaming’s online platforms as well as its machine offerings.

Going forward, Project will remain under the able leadership of its management team who will be spearheading the day-to-day activities at its south London studio. However, the design and development departments of both companies will form a close relationship with the main intention being to bring even more innovations to both the online and retail sectors of the thriving gaming industry – according to Gauselmann Group’s UK General Manager, Sascha Blodau, the now enlarged group will be led by Matt Cole who is the Managing Director at Blueprint Gaming.

Also commenting on the acquisition was Tony Boulton, the Managing Director of Project who pointed out that the new opportunity will enable them to “benefit from the scale, support and added distribution of the Gauselmann group.” He believes that these opportunities will enable Project to grow further and introduce their game portfolio to the online audience.

Blueprint Gaming’s International Partnerships

In addition to solidifying its already strong grasp in the United Kingdom, Blueprint Gaming has also been working towards expanding its international reach with its most recent move in this regard being a partnership with platform provider Iforium.

The new partnership will see Blueprint Gaming’s impressive portfolio of online slots integrated onto Gameflex, an innovative casino aggregation and bonusing platform that is owned and operated by Iforium.

“We’re delighted to see our games go live on the Gameflex platform and look forward to delivering even more exciting content to our latest partner over the coming months,” Matt Cole, the Managing Director of Blueprint Gaming said.

Moreover, international players will also have access to the Blueprint Gaming’s Jackpot king progressive system that will apply to players on existing titles like Winstar and Super Diamond Deluxe.
