It is great news for Poker Central&#8217;s customers who will now be able to enjoy watching High Stakes Poker games once they go live on PokerGO, Poker Central&#8217;s popular subscription-based streaming service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is <strong>set to begin in the course of 2020 with players being treated to a ton of action-packed streams.<\/strong> Beyond that, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Poker Central (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bestonlinecasinosites.com\/news\/poker-central-announces-high-roller-of-the-year-schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\">Poker Central<\/a> is also reportedly looking into extending the reach of the High Stakes Poker distribution to other areas including other streaming services as well as broadcast services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-treat-for-nostalgic-viewers\">A Treat for Nostalgic Viewers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the announcement of the acquisition, Poker\nCentral president Sampson Simmons noted that High Stakes Poker was a &#8220;remarkable\nprogram&#8221; that resonated well with viewers. This is because it included several\nstar poker players, immensely massive and engaging plots as well as a ton of\nmemorable moments. In essence, it was a pretty well-thought-out and remarkable\nbeautiful depiction of what happens in real-life poker games especially in\ncases where real money is involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Bringing the existing episodes of High Stakes Poker to\nour platform and producing more in the future will enable us to recapture the\nnostalgia and magic of the show for our PokerGO subscribers in the present-day\npoker climate,&#8221; Simmons said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After it debuted on January 16, 2006, High Stakes Poker quickly rose to become one of the most-watched <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"poker television shows (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/features\/top-5-poker-tv-shows-4834331\" target=\"_blank\">poker television shows<\/a> on the planet. It was very exciting for viewers to watch some of the biggest names in poker play in the action-packed show. A few of the notable poker stars who appeared on the show include<strong> Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, and Doyle Brunson<\/strong>.
