Nikhil Kalro, now a former employee of ESPNcricinfo, has decided to launch a new digital gaming and sports content company. <strong>This move was seemingly very well-planned considering the fact that it coincides with the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gaming portal is essentially a web-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestonlinecasinosites.com\/news\/nascar-welcomes-sports-betting-and-daily-fantasy-sports\/\">daily fantasy sports (DFS)<\/a> site and it is being referred to as <strong>Altletics<\/strong>, that is, from &#8220;Alternative Athletics&#8221;. It will be catering to a wide range of audiences and is specifically<strong> tailored towards encouraging the participation and involvement from individuals who prefer to be a part of daily fantasy sports but for free.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike other established daily fantasy sports providers, the\nBengaluru-based Altletics will be putting\nemphasis on smaller leagues with smaller numbers of contest entries which will\nfeature smaller entry fees. In addition to that, the new gaming platform is\nalso committed to offering an improved\nand much smoother customer experience than any other operator \u2013 this will be\npursued through some rather simple initiatives including greater cash bonuses as\nwell as smaller entries, both of which are set to increase the customers&#8217; odds\nof winning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As it stands, Altletics only offers odds on cricket games. However, the platform is undergoing some expansions that will bring a wider variety of games in the near future. As the platform grows and additional sports are added, the platform will also be unveiling other fan-favorite features such as <strong>dedicated mobile apps for both Android and iOS-powered devices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-state-of-online-gambling-in-india\">The State of Online Gambling in India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gambling, in general, has long been a rather contentious\nmatter in India \u2013 for the most part, the activity is considered to be illegal\nwith a number of states completely outlawing any form of gambling activity.
