new regulatory regime<\/a> that are expected to go by as soon as July. The process will, however, not only involve the Federal Gaming Board’s (Eidgen\u00f6ssische Spielbankenkommission, ESBK) input but will also put into consideration a review of each of the four petitions by the Federal Council. In fact, the federal board will play a monumental role in the success or failure of the process as it is expected to deliver an announcement by the end of June on whether the four land-based casinos should be allowed to proceed with the launch of the online gaming operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\nIf the Federal Council announcement gives the green light for the launch of the online gambling operations, Swiss players will be able to begin enjoying a ton of online casino games as early as July 1.
